TMJ TREATMENT & SLEEP APNEA
IN AMERICAN FORK, UT
The experience, tools and training you need!
Do you have difficulty getting to sleep or staying asleep? Do you have problems with jaw or neck pain, brain fog, headache, anxiety, balance, vertigo, fatigue, snoring, or grinding?
Humans need sleep as much as they need food, water, and air to survive. Getting enough sleep is key to good health and well-being.
If you suffer from any of these issues you are not alone. 70% of Americans have stated they have difficulty sleeping. This can be caused by varying things, including stress, diet, frequencies in our world, and much more.
Very frequently, it’s also a structural problem. Some people simply don’t have enough room for air to get where it needs to go. This can be caused by many things, including hidden dental infections and growth and development problems like a tongue tie.
Dr. Myles Preble and our sleep and jaw treatment team have dedicated themselves to studying and understanding sleep, TMJ, and airway problems and have created positive changes for hundreds of people.
The team has been able to do this by taking the time to understand the core or root cause of problems for their patients.
They are not satisfied with temporary solutions like appliances or CPAP machines that you have to use for the rest of your life. They are dedicated to fixing the underlying problem. This leads to long-term health, pain-free living and better sleep. Learn More...
The good news is that my husband has said he hasn’t noticed me snoring lately. I can hardly wait to continue and see how things continue to improve.
TMJ TREATMENT, SLEEP & AIRWAY SERVICES
Long-term Sleep Apnea Treatments
Sleep apnea treatments are often just bandaids for the problem. Long-term CPAP and mouth appliances don’t correct the problem. We find the root cause and treat that for long lasting sleep improvement.
Interceptive Orthodontics with MyoBrace
Myobrace® therapy focuses on treating the underlying causes of growth and airway issues in kids, which can help your child with health and wellness for life.
Healing TMJ and Pain Therapies
Headaches, jaw pain, head and neck pain, and other concerns can all be related to your jaw position. We find root causes and offer corrective solutions.
Fotona’s NightLase® therapy is a non-invasive, patient-friendly laser treatment for increasing the quality of a patient’s sleep. NightLase reduces the effects of sleep apnea and decreases the amplitude of snoring by means of a gentle, laser-induced tightening effect caused by the contraction of collagen in the oral mucosa tissue
Vertigo and Ear Therapies
Did you know your jaws and ears are very related to one another? Often ear problems and vertigo are related to issues in your jaw joint. We can pinpoint problems on a CT.

Care Coordinator – Sleep
Who couldn’t love the team at Total Care Dental? After working with Michelle for 10 years, I ventured out to work with a dental consultant for a few years. Due to my passion for dentistry, I wanted to help other teams as well. Now I’m back to my roots! I love what this practice stands for and the quality of dentistry and care that is given here. When not at the practice you’ll find me traveling, playing with my family, mountain biking, or on the courts playing a fun game of tennis.
