Healthy Banana Ice Cream

This recipe is great for several reasons:

Ingredients

  • 8 Frozen Bananas (still pliable)
  • 1 Cup Coconut Milk

Instructions

  • Add frozen, pliable Bananas and coconut milk to a high powered blender.
  • Blend until smooth, pausing to stir occasionally to get clumps out of the bottom.
  • Add more coconut milk until you get the desired texture.
  • It can be served right away or frozen for a later time in an airtight container. Enjoy!

Notes

If the bananas are too frozen it will form a blob or overheat your blender, so be sure that your bananas aren’t all the way frozen. A great way to make sure your bananas are pliable is to let them sit outside of the freezer for a few hours before using them or only put them in the freezer for a few hours before using them.
*Pliable just means you can shape them or break them with your hands, rather than being rock solid.
